GM Howie Fortel and Manager Marc Weiss have been friends for over 40 years. They started playing Strat/Purse The Pennant and Statis-Pro Baseball decades ago and morphed into computer games like Earl Weaver Baseball and years later APCBB. Their GM/Mgr partnership has lasted decades, because each compliments the others' strengths. Howie is a tireless researcher and can build a team based on present and future talent. He never builds to be a one hit wonder and his biggest strength is finding those "diamonds in the rough". Marc prides himself on being a top strategic manager, who excels in handling his pen. He has won 7 KOD championships in 19 seasons. Both friends, who grew up together in Brooklyn confer on all personnel moves and must be in agreement before a trade or draft pick is executed. Both are still active softball competitors as members of the Staten Island Dodgers.
